Welcome to 2012...It's gonna be a great year. I hope you had a great christmas. I've started my annual 2 month cleanse (5th year in a row). No booze or bad habits and lots of yoga and visits to the Y. February is about the time i do all my underwear modeling...ok sometimes in March as well. If you're not familiar with my sense of humour welcome to the team.
I'm just starting to record a new project. This cd will be a 6 pack. We're recording 6 songs, 3 more contemporary songs and 3 more roots oriented and I'll sell it for $10. I've two new great tunes written with Duane Steele and one with Thomas Wade. Carrie DeMaeyer and I have a couple as well. I'm heading to Nashville in February to do a writing stint for this project and for a couple other artists.
I lost my dad at the end of the year. I want to say thank-you for all the kind wishes. He was a guitar/mandolin player. My parents had a huge influence on me playing music and I can thank my dad for his quirky sense of humour...in our family we laugh a lot. I wish that for you in 2012.
I'm performing in Ontario from now till the end of March, mostly House Concerts. If you'd like me to play at your house contact me on facebook or contact my agent on the web-site. It's simple, you get 25- 40 friends to come to your house. I bring a small sound system and sing some songs and drink some beers :)...it's a great time. BTW I'm playing Sudbury at the Holiday Inn on Jan 21st.
My resolution is to update my blog more often lol..I'm on facebook constantly so stay in touch. I shall conquer twitter this year.
