Welcome to 2011. I'm looking forward to an amazing year..great will work too! My favourite number is 11 so "Bring It On".
I had a great holiday season and I'm in the throws of my cleanse. This is the fourth year of not drinking or smoking for the first two months of the year. I go to the Y 6 days a week and detox with my naturopath...ok so this healthy thing takes some effort..lol.
I've started writing and will for the next three months. I'm not sure what this new cd will be..I'm curious and kinda' excited..it's fun finding out where the creativity will take me..ooohh..could be a polka record.... probably not!!? I've been writing with Carrie Demaeyer and soon withThomas Wade. Jay Semko and I are going to write for this cd. I think that'll be a cool colaboration.
The kids are great..Katy is loving university and Josh is liking the swim team (stop gap til track)..Now Cooper needs some serious training. We had to get another border collie eh!!? He's still a puppy, I'm livin' on that one.
I'm planning on playing live more this year so come out and see me. I'll be adding a bunch of dates to the site very soon. I start gigging the end of March in Ontario and I'm out west in May.
I'm also proud to say that I celebrate my 50th birthday this year in April. Another reason to come out and say Hi. Let's have a great year..hug yourself and someone else (could be a stranger...just sayin').
