"I'm baaack"! It's been a while since I've blogged..it's that damn facebook!? We've had an absolutely stunning fall in Ontario and yes the leaves are off the trees and you can smell the snow. I say bring it on I'm ready for it.."WINTER'.
I'm just leaving for my Sean Hogan Christmas Lovefest. We do two shows up north and a bunch out west. Check out www.canadiancountrychristmas.net for the dates. On the tour is: Diane Chase, Duane Steele, Samantha King, Codie Prevost, Jay Semko, Stepanie Thompson and Donny Parenteau. I'm hoping it's not quite as cold as it was last year (-50 in Slave Lake). I'll update each day of the tour on facebook.
I'm going to write Jan - April. I miss the head space I get in when I'm in writing mode. I wonder what the next cd will be like. My writing usually dictates that.
I tweaked my knee 4 weeks ago (ligaments). I'm back working out and things are good :)
Katy is enjoying university..the many essays and books to read..not so much!?
Josh's volleyball team went to the finals..there's nothing wrong with 2nd. He's now on the swim team which I think is great, however on Tuesdays and Thursday Dad drives him to the pool for 6:30 am. I'm sure it's some kinda' grounding lesson. I've had a lot of those this year..lessons!?
And there's the newest member of our family, Cooper. A 6 month old border collie/blue heeler mix..he's sweet, smart, cute and a bit of a pain.
I'll be releasing a new single in January..not sure which song yet? I will blog again before christmas. I'm looking forward to 2011. 11 is my favourite number. It was the number I wore when I played hockey :)
